The principle behind Blade Technology is efficiency.
The Retail Blade host becomes the foundation of the system and a separate Retail Blade motherboard is installed in the host. As required the motherboard can be removed and maintained or upgraded to the latest performance Blade. The simple service design decreases downtime while the increase in Return on Investment and elimination of the ‘Rip and Replace’ cycle ensures technology purchased today does not become redundant.

The DigiPoS Quantum Blade: The latest of the Blade range bringing benefits in reduced energy consumption as well sustainability.
DigiPoS has extended its range of Retail Blade point of sale systems with the new Quantum Blade. Utilising the latest Intel Atom 330 processor technology brings substantial benefits in reduced power consumption of just 33 watts.
The Quantum Blade offers at least a 60% reduction in power consumption when compared to a standard Retail Blade or desktop PC maximising the green potential and substantially reducing your carbon footprint. The reduction in energy consumption also brings a positive cash reduction in your costs.
The Quantum Blade is fully compatible with the Retail Blade range and benefits from all of its advantages of easy installation and low maintenance. Existing systems can be upgraded in seconds without the need for tools, technicians or even removal of connected devices. With future-proof technology in mind DigiPoS can continue to address the changing requirements for the retailer while providing a reduced total cost of ownership.
